⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As someone visiting from out of town, I cannot recommend Antwon more for exceptional, full-house automotive inspection service — we genuinely feel like we gained a friend in the business thanks to him. My mother and I flew to Austin ✈️ last minute from Atlanta to view a car she was considering purchasing. Naturally, she wanted to be sure it was safe, properly inspected, and mechanically sound before making such a big decision. I started calling around to local mechanics and couldn’t get a response — until I reached Antwon. The moment he picked up, I could tell we were in good hands. He was professional, kind, and immediately transparent about what he offers. Even though we initially considered meeting him that same night, we scheduled him for the next day, to meet us first thing in the morning at dealership and he was incredibly accommodating. Antwon’s passion for his craft is unmatched. He’s not only knowledgeable but genuinely cares about people — especially those who may not know much about cars. He took the time to explain everything in a clear, approachable way. He gave us a full run-down of the car, what to expect long term, and how to stay on top of things, even when he’s not around. He also engaged directly with the dealership and advocated for my mother, ensuring she felt confident and informed.✨ To top it all off, Antwon met with us again on our way out of town to double-check everything and make sure we were fully comfortable and safe before hitting the road. That level of care and attention is so rare!! Thanks to Antwon, not only did we leave Austin with peace of mind, but we also left with the warmest impression of the city. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had!! I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I hired this company to come out and repair my Vehicle on a Saturday. He came out and I told him what I thought was wrong with the car(Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement)! He agreed to do the repair for $240 service fee plus another $700 for the repair. He stayed working on the vehicle till 6am. The following day he texted me stating that I needed another sensor, which is perfectly fine! But, after a couple of days of waiting for him to come he decides to call me telling me that it would’ve taken months for a shop to fix my car and that he was doing me a favor(paraphrasing) and he could’ve charged me twice since I provided him a faulty part and he has to install it twice! There was a clear lack of communication and just all around bad service. I’ve included our text communication below.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a 1-star review for services that were never completed. I want to share my full experience so others can make their own informed decisions. On Friday, I contacted ATX512 to address a potential electrical issue with my car. As required, I paid the $230 upfront and sent a screenshot of payment to confirm my booking. Shortly after, I identified and resolved the issue myself and called to cancel. I was informed that all sales are final, which was stated on the receipt, so I accepted that and requested to switch the appointment to an oil change service instead. I was told a technician would come out Saturday morning and that I’d be the first stop. Saturday came and went — no one showed up. I did receive a message saying they were finishing another car and would come afterward. I was understanding and even agreed to reschedule for Sunday. Sunday came and went — again, no one showed up, and this time there was no communication after multiple messages from my side. At this point, it's been several days, and I have yet to receive any service at all. I had other work I was prepared to pay for, but I never got the chance. I understand things can get busy, but communication is key — and unfortunately, that was lacking here. While they may be knowledgeable, I can only speak from experience: I paid upfront and received nothing in return. If things change, I’ll update this review accordingly.

Antwon was an absolute godsend. It was late at night, and I had just left a party in Austin while in town from Dallas for a conference. My car wouldn’t start, and I knew it wasn’t the battery based on my own quick diagnosis. I called ATX, and they said someone could be there in about 30 minutes—it was around 9 p.m., and pitch dark outside. Sure enough, they showed up, and Antwon got to work right away. He walked through a few possible issues, then got the car to start by suspecting the relay was the problem. I rushed to AutoZone just before they closed, picked up a new relay, and installed it. The car started without any issues. There was a random wire connected to the old relay, which we weren’t sure about. I figured I should reconnect it—seemed important. But when I did, the car wouldn’t start again. So I swapped the old relay back in—leaving that mystery wire disconnected—and the car started perfectly. Turns out the issue wasn’t the relay at all… it was that strange wire. Still don’t know what it does. Point is, I never would’ve figured any of this out without Antwon. He completely saved the night. I’m incredibly grateful for people like him who show up when you’re in a tough spot. God bless you, Antwon.
